Following last year’s BAD PREMONITION EP, Shi bills Valerie of an extension of her last project, which marked her becoming a fully independent artist. Whereas BAD PREMONITION emphasized the cathartic experience of gaining her musical freedom, the new album will see her truly come into her own sound.

This book talks about photoplethysmography (PPG) techniques based on computer-aided data processing. In particular, it presents the results of a co-operative Indo-German project on the topic between Indian Institute of Technology at Chennai and RWTH Aachen University. Measuring system design, experimental details and some preliminary results obtained so far within the framework of this project are presented here.

"Crawl Space" is the full-length debut of Tei Shi, the performance alias of N.Y.C.-based singer and Argentinian-born songwriter Valerie Teicher, an alum of the Berklee College of Music. Known to some for earlier EPs and singles like "M&Ms" and "Bassically", she incorporates layered vocal tracks, sometimes looped, into a slinky, efficient indie electronic sound.
