Ces deux là sont incomparables grâce à leur gourmandise sonore commune et à leur entente parfaite. Cette promenade avec le chien, celui du film Shall we Dance avec Fred Astaire et Ginger Rogers, nous emmène à travers de très habiles transcriptions d’œuvres de Lili Boulanger, Sergei Prokofiev (géniale suite d’après le ballet Roméo et Juliette), Ravel et Françaix. On y trouve aussi la rare et subtile Rhapsodie pour saxophone de Debussy et le fameux Scaramouche de Darius Milhaud dans la version pour saxophone alto prévue par le compositeur. Outre la composition originale de ce programme festif, on aime la sonorité sensuelle du saxophone soutenu par le piano imaginatif et presque orchestral de Joseph Moog.
