Drawing on the entire Sigur Rós catalogue, including new material, Liminal brings together music from the various strands of the band’s career - collaborations, solo work, film score, AI music, commissions, etc - with those of the wider Sigur Rós family (Alex Somers and producer Paul Corley). In doing so it presents a multi-faceted perspective on the whole Sigur Rós creative universe, taking the listener to a place neither here nor there, a liminal space.
