Schon der brasilianische Komponist Heitor Villa Lobos (1887–1959) brachte seine immense Bewunderung für Johann Sebastian Bach mit den insgesamt neun Bachianas Brasilieras kreativ zum Ausdruck, die heute noch immer zu seinen bekanntesten Werken zählen.

‘Elements‘ is the label debut by emerging German composer & producer Linus Alberg. The eight tracks were recorded in fall 2022/winter 2023 in his home studio in Augsburg with trumpet by Matthias Lindermayr. The pieces were initially inspired by the changing of the seasons, created through extended improvisations and experimentations on a Yamaha Upright Piano. As melodies and structures emerged, stories grew for each of the tracks around objects, places and moments he'd collected during the writing process. With these stories, Alberg's soundworld grew richer and the piano was joined by tastefully layered synths, harmonium and trumpet. The result is a collection of reflective yet upbeat instrumental tracks with a sonic universe that is entirely his own.

Now, Voyager, sail… (First Symphony), Op. 130 is Robert Groslot’s first symphony. The title refers to a poem by the American author Walt Whitman. And the “Scherzo” movement shares a link with the Beatles song, Getting Better from the album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Groslot borrows musical motives and paraphrases them in his musical language.

German violin virtuoso Linus Roth brings a unique project and program, SamBach.Starting with J.S. Bach's E -Major concerto getting via Villa-Lobos to the most famous Samba melodies arranged for solo violin, string orchestra, harpsichord, guitar and percussion…A peculiar and exciting musical journey.

With "Distant Fragments", Camilo Mendez presents an album of solos and duos that showcase his most intimate and reflective works, creating a rich sound tapestry. While Mechanical Resonance I: Iridescent Resonance explores cloud luminescence through prepared violin and viola, Five Fragments deals with the themes of variation and polyphony. Cancion de la Distancia, on the other hand, reflects the fleeting nature of memory and time, inspired by Arturo’s poetry. Recorded by Roberto Alonso, Linus Fung, William Lane, Angus Lee and Charles Ng, this album offers a subtle and complex musical contemplation.
