Opus Dei, the band’s first album for Mute, was mixed by Rico Conning (Wire, Pere Ubu, Swans, William Orbit) and the band’s classic Laibachian interpretations of Opus’ ‘Live Is Life’ (here presented in English as ‘Opus Dei’ and in German as ‘Leben heisst Leben’) and Queen’s ‘One Vision’ (reworked as ‘Geburt Einer Nation’) soon saw them emerge from the shadows as they garnered support from the likes of MTV and ITV’s The Chart Show. This mainstream spotlight, coupled with memorable features in the music press, opened up opportunities for the Slovenian collective that included their first world tour. Performances from the tour from London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, San Francisco, Berlin, Paris and “somewhere in Europe” make up the second CD of the expanded remastered edition.

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1984 album from the tribal Psychobilly Blues band fronted by Jeffrey Lee Pierce, including a bonus live CD. The Las Vegas Story was possibly the most complete and unrushed Gun Club LP. Produced by Jeff Eyrich, this LP saw the band experiment more with covering show tunes like Gershwin's 'My Man's Gone Now' and a killer take on Pharaoh Sanders' 'The Creator Has A Master Plan'. Yet another raved about LP in the press, The Las Vegas Story was the icing on the cake in the Gun Clubs early carrier. This release features the album in all its glory plus a bonus CD featuring a complete live show of the band from 1984. Cooking Vinyl. 2009.

Razormaid Records was established in the mid-80s and Joseph Watt Art Maharg in San Francisco, California as a music service club DJs. Their goal was to offer something more than just the regular version of the musical compositions, all of which were at home. They created their own special version of the song, editing and sometimes making a remix of the hottest club tunes played (or was going to play) throughout the world.

"The Cars" is the debut album by the American new wave band the Cars. It was released on June 6, 1978 on Elektra Records. The album, which featured the three charting singles "Just What I Needed," "My Best Friend's Girl," and "Good Times Roll," as well as several album-oriented rock radio hits, was a major success for the band, remaining on the charts for 139 weeks. "Give Up" is the only studio album by American indie band The Postal Service, released on February 19, 2003 through Sub Pop Records. The band began as a side project between electronic music artist Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's vocalist Ben Gibbard. The two had previously worked together for a track on Dntel's album Life Is Full of Possibilities.
