Ramona Falls is the new music project by Brent Knopf. Brent, a Portland Oregon native, is also one-third of the band Menomena. The debut Ramona Falls album is called "Intuit" and it includes performances of dozens of friends.

First of all, there is *nothing* like this band around today. Secondly, they seamlessly mesh acoustic, folk, rock, hip hop, electronic, and then add their own very distinct twist on it. No two songs sound remotely similar – each one is its own piece of art. Each tune has so many different layers and pieces throughout. Considered as the album of the year in the genre.

The band were formed in the early 80s and quickly developed a following in the L.A. area. The release of "Once Bitten…", and its hit single "Rock Me", was a platinum-selling achievement, but it was 1989's "…Twice Shy" which really catapulted them to fame. The album included their biggest hit, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy", for which they received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance.

This album is as mature and complete as a young band can produce. It is also a predecessor to Great White's platinum "Once Bitten…" and "…Twice Shy" albums.
