“Venom” is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is intended to be the first film in Sony’s Marvel Universe. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. In Venom, journalist Brock is bound to an alien symbiote that gives him superpowers. Venom is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with Spider-Man.

He then relocated to Los Angeles, enrolled in the Scoring for Motion Picture and Television program at the University of Southern California, and soon found work as an assistant to film composer Theodore Shapiro (Old School, Tropic Thunder, St. Vincent), who shared Göransson's penchant for comedy.

Known for his vibrant, often playful orchestral music for film and television, Ludwig Göransson is an Oscar-winning Swedish composer based in Los Angeles. Also recognized for his Grammy-winning work as a producer and songwriter in genres including rap, pop, and R&B, he often performs and records his own music unless an orchestra is warranted. Some of his earliest lead composer credits came on television sitcoms such as Community (2009-2015) and New Girl (2011-2018). Early in Community's run, he also began collaborating with cast member Donald Glover on his rap music as Childish Gambino. Göransson was recognized by several film critics associations for his music for the 2015 boxing film Creed, and in 2019, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for Black Panther (2018). That same year, he took home Grammy Awards for Record and Song of the Year for Childish Gambino's "This Is America" as well as for his Black Panter score.

Liszt was the son of a steward in the service of the Esterházy family, patrons of Haydn. He was born in 1811 at Raiding in Hungary and moved as a child to Vienna, where he took piano lessons from Czerny and composition lessons from Salieri. Two years later, in 1823, he moved with his family to Paris, from where he toured as a pianist. Influenced by the phenomenal violinist Paganini, he turned his attention to the development of a similar technique as a pianist and in 1835 left Paris with his mistress, the Comtesse d’Agoult, with whom he travelled widely during the following years as his reputation as a pianist of astonishing powers grew.
