Ryan Innes from Season 4 The Voice dropped an eight-song album “What I’m Looking For” on Friday, just in time for his Monday night appearance on NBC’s Songland. Ryan will be one of four songwriters featured on The Season 2 premiere. As for the new album, it follows 2018’s “The Inbetween” as Ryan’s second major project since The Voice. And it’s an impressive collection of songs. Tracks especially worth a listen include the celebratory “Born To Win” and the wonderfully raucous “I Got It.” The title track is also a standout.

This amazing ex-Robert Plant axeman at last on a UK label and playing the Blues. He appeared on a sell-out stage at the 2006 Great British R&B Festival where he amazed the audience with his wonderful and emotive playing. A superb album full of Innes exciting and innovative guitar playing at its best with the songs recorded "live" without much overdubbing. His playing is really varied from some head up blistering solos as in So Tired of Living, to the jazzy Desert Rain, there's a funky Natural High, even an acoustic track on Midlife Crisis.

A tasteful and intelligent modern blues band, the Hollywood Flames came together in 1975 on the West Coast as the Hollywood Fats Band, led by guitar phenom Michael "Hollywood Fats" Mann, and featuring what was arguably the best traditional blues line-up this side of 1954. "Soul Sanctuary" was welcomed with unanimous praise by blues fans around the world, as blues with both a history and a future. A great album in the west coast and Chicago style blues and a must have if you like guitar players like Ronnie Earl, Dave Specter, Alex Schultz and Steve Freund. Featured special guest artist is Kim Wilson on harmonica. The Hollywood Blue Flames literally burn their way through a set of fresh originals sprinkled with well-chosen covers.

The unreleased material has many entries, an example, such as a demo, take and rehearsal recorded 1960-1969. Some records were not published in the official album and bootlegs.
