На одной из своих сессий в студии Мэнголд познакомился с начинающим вокалистом Элом Фритчем и именно этот дуэт и стал позднее называться DRIVE, SHE SAID. Материал был написан, естественно, Мэнголдом, он же позаботился о серьезном контракте с CBS, о продюсере в лице канадской звезды Альда Нова (ALDO NOVA) и о музыкантах, поддержавших дуэт в студии во время записи дебютного альбома, а именно: гитаристе Бобе Кулике (Bob Kulick, ex-BALANCE, SKULL), басисте Кении Ааронсоне (Kenny Aaronson, ex-AXIS, H.S.A.S.), в качестве бэк-вокалистов выступили Фиона и Альдо Нова.
