The Church continue their never-ending exploration of inner space on 2014's Further/Deeper, the Australian group's first album in five years, and an impressive return to duty after the band's productive run in the 2000s. Taking a few years to rest and recharge seems to have worked out very well for the Church; this album doesn't find the band exploring much in the way of new and unchartered territory, but it finds them embracing their trademark version of psychedelia – clean but misty, like the calm eye of the aural hurricane as the waves of guitar and keys swirl about – with a welcome sense of vigor and focus.

This 2015 version of Puccini's Turandot has been cannily marketed and has sold well. The marketers had ideal material to work with. Those coming to the opera from the crossover pop recordings of tenor Andrea Bocelli probably needed little more motivation to purchase the album than his name on the cover: he can turn out a crowd even in places where opera is very rare, such as Indonesia.

Steeped in the sounds of classic blues, soul, and rock & roll from the '50s and '60s, Vintage Trouble fuse the style of the past with the swagger and cool of the present day, and have won a devoted fan following in the United States and the United Kingdom with their passionate live show. Swedish-born guitarist Colt had briefly been part of Dakota Moon's road band, and had also been part of the short-lived Ghosthounds.

Released in the UK in December 1968, "Shine on Brightly" followed on from the huge international success in 1967 of the band's debut single 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and the follow up single 'Homburg' and built on the creative path begun on Procol Harum's self-titled debut album issued in January 1968.
