Madonna Madam X

It’s October 8 already down under and here are the details, the cover and the tracklisting of Madame X – Music From The Theater Xperience (Live).The album features 20 songs for a 1 hour, 33 minutes running time and is ℗ 2021 Boy Toy Inc. under exclusive license to Warner Records LLC., marking Madonna’s first new release under her new deal with Warner Music Group. All tracks are marked as live at the Coliseu dos Recreios, Lisbon, Portugal, 1/12-23/2020 – Crave and Sodade didn’t make the final cut.

2017 release, the long-awaited sophomore album from legendary Detroit hard rockers Madam X. Produced by Madam X at Metro 37 Studios in Rochester Hills, MI, and mixed by Michael Wagener (Megadeth, Metallica, Skid Row, Ozzy Osbourne), with additional mixing by Mark Slaughter, Monstrocity is a hard-hitting classic metal/rock record sure to serve as a proper return to form for Madam X, and a kick in the ass for fans old and new. Madam X formed in 1981 by sisters Roxy and Maxine Petrucci. The band split when Roxy went on to join Vixen. Fast forward to 2017, when the Petrucci sisters return as Madam X. The album features 12 hard-hitting slabs of rock, including the pummeling title track 'Monstrocity', 'Resurrection', 'Nitrous', and an updated version of their 1984 hit 'High In High School.'

Influenced creatively by living in Lisbon, Portugal over the past several years, Madame X is a collection of 15 new songs that celebrate Madonna’s career-long affair with Latin music and culture as well as other global influences. Singing in Portuguese, Spanish and English, highlights on the album include “Medellín,” which was co-produced by Mirwais and captures the spirit of Maluma’s hometown, the anthemic song “I Rise,” the Jamaican dancehall vibes of “Future” featuring Quavo, and co-produced by Diplo, as well as the sonically innovative Mirwaisproduced “Dark Ballet.” Recorded over 18 months in Portugal, London, New York and Los Angeles, Madonna collaborated on Madame X with longtime producer Mirwais, as well as with producers Mike Dean and Diplo, among others.

Madonna is releasing a new album "Madame X" on June 14, 2019. Its Japanese limited edition exclusively features the high-fidelity SHM-CD format. Hardcover book-type packaging *The contents of this release will be identical to the worldwide release, except for SHM-CD format and a Japan edition exclusive bonus track: "Medellin with Maluma (Offer Nissim Madame X In The Sphinx)".

INTHEBEGINNING is an interesting collection of Madonna's aural baby pictures, more specifically the low-budget, lo-fi demos she made in early 1980 and '81 with songwriting partner Stephen Bray (who provides amusing liner notes in which he continually refers to her as Emmy). Highlights include "Laugh to Keep From Crying," a highly uncharacteristic rocker a la the Pretenders, with 12-string Rickenbacker guitar played by Madonna herself, two versions of the early album cut "Ain't No Big Deal," and bare-bones blueprint versions of future hits "Burning Up" and "Everybody."
