The music of Manu Katche lolls around, languorously getting where it desires to go, making expert use of space and silence. The French drummer garnered attention for work on classic rock records by Peter Gabriel and Sting before embarking on a solo tack as a jazz composer and bandleader.

Manu Katché is the drummer, which can be seen after only a few sounds. He has style and class. Elegant and powerful with its own stop he usually sits for pop and jazz world stars on the drums. It all the more exciting when you can hear him with his own compositions is. In June 2014, the concert goers experienced the in> New Morning 'in Paris. For everyone else it was held to happiness on this live album.

Manu Katché is a French musician. Though he is also a well-experienced and talented songwriter, he is most notably and widely regarded for his passionate, stylish and ultimately unique skill of playing drums.

He was sky-rocketed to stardom in the music world in the mid-1980s mostly thanks to the huge success of Peter Gabriel's 1986 album So and his subsequent work with Sting. After that he has been prominently featured in the pop, rock and world music scene playing with numerous bands and artists, including Afro Celt Sound System, Jeff Beck, Al Di Meola, Dire Straits, Jan Garbarek, Loreena McKennit, Youssou N'dour, Robbie Robertson, Joe Satriani, Tori Amos, Richard Wright and the aforementioned Peter Gabriel and Sting, with whom he has also toured extensively.

He released his second solo album on September 12th 2005 entitled Neighbourhood, which has contribution from such talents as the aforementioned Jan Garbarek on saxophone, Tomasz Stanko on trumpet, Marcin Wasilewski on piano and Slawomir Kurkiewicz on double-bass.

Colors reflect not only the Russian-born pianist and composer's creative drive, but also her seemingly limitless imagination. Each of the 14 colors she interprets represents a different stage in life, with the songs presented chronologically.

A constellation of star names shoot into view, new in April, from Antonio Faraò who is touring this spring with Jazz Messengers legend Benny Golson. Quite a procession into and out of the studio on a dozen of the Italian pianist’s extrovert compositions and arrangements, the styles straddling jazz-rock fusion, funk, smooth jazz, R&B and hip-hop, guests including Marcus Miller, Snoop Dogg, Manu Katché and Didier Lockwood. A spacey showbizzy start to the whole shebang hovers into view right at the beginning featuring a peculiar kind of movie trailer curtain raiser. Skipping on rapidly to ‘Line’ featuring rapper Krayzie Bone (Anthony Henderson to his mum) for a lively bit of cussin’ and no holding back, the high energy radiating outwards a case of harmless entertainment no more no less, Faraò surfacing to fly somehow like Herbie Hancock back in his ‘lost’ 1980s period. Be afraid, be very afraid.
