Materia Osteopatica

"Materia" is the new album by Marco Mengoni. It is the continuation of the musical project Materia, a three-album journey that began with the multi-platinum album "Materia" to show the three different but complementary souls that unite Mengoni's musical origins, his sonic research and his attention to the present. Different sound worlds that represent his musical uniqueness and tell through the story of what is important to him.

Il mondo dell'antimateria è così vicino al nostro che è praticamente impossibile distinguerlo dal mondo della materia. Si tratta di una vicinanza paradossale in quanto l'incontro tra questi due mondi porterebbe a una conflagrazione di estrema violenza e alla completa eliminazione di almeno uno dei due: incontrando l'antimateria, la materia si annichilirebbe quasi istantaneamente in uno scatenamento di energia che in una frazione di secondo raggiungerebbe una temperatura di circa un miliardo di gradi. Questo scenario catastrofico, e fortunatamente irreale, permette di chiarire il fatto che l'antimateria può esistere nelle nostre vicinanze solo in scarsissime quantità e che l'asimmetria materia antimateria è alla base della nostra stessa sopravvivenza. Eppure, agli albori dell'universo doveva esserci una pari quantità di materia e di antimateria: dov'è andata a finire tutta l'antimateria presente all'inizio dell'universo?

Our beloved progressive/psychedelic/folklore Rock band Agusa – formed in Malmö (Sweden) in 2013 – is back (after 2021’s “En Annan Varld” with the album “Prima Materia”, their 8th release so far! “Prima Materia” is an exciting new album that finds the refreshed/renewed members of Agusa infiltrating even deeper and further into that lone 70s Progressive Rock path.

We thought the next Final Fantasy cover album from Materia Collective was long overdue, and we both have a big love for the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack. As the game focuses so much on character development and connections, we wanted to celebrate those ideas with a theme of collaboration. Each track on EIDOLON is the work of multiple Materia Collective artists working together to develop their interpretations of the classic music of Final Fantasy IX.
