As every woman in Cape Verde, Mayra Andrade has the sea in the soul and the art of navigation in their genes. Born in Cuba and lived in Angola, then discovered her Cape Verdean origins and went to Germany, until finally settling in France. His music bears the influence of many latitudes, notably in Africa. In this first live album, the study 105 of Radio France, sailing in a gentle sea of morna and strainer or agitated version of Funan and Batuque, depending on the wind and the thrill of 'saudade'. Mayra’s singing is a blend of radiant, dancing colors, velvet beats and spicy melodies. The songs conjure up an eternal summer that disperses the mists and chills, but never resort to the tinsel of exoticism. Sung in Cape Verdean creole, English and Portuguese, they carry us away in their warm, adventurous unpredictability.

Guitarist, composer and producer, Thomas Naïm began playing the guitar at the age of 12. Influenced first by Rock, he then became interested in many musical currents: Funk, Brazilian music, Reggae or electronic music and finally became passionate about Jazz.

On November 13, 2020, Thomas Naïm's new jazz/blues trio opus, "SOUNDS OF JIMI" (Rootless Blues/L'autre Distribution) has been released. This is an important event for Thomas cause it’s an album that pays tribute to a musician that had a great impact on him, the American guitarist Jimi Hendrix. This album also benefits from special guests Hugh Coltman, Erik Truffaz, Célia Kameni and Camille Bazbaz.
