On May 21, 2021, Onyx Productions will release Raise Up Off Me, the final full-length album from master drummer, bandleader and composer Ralph Peterson Jr. To be released one day after what would have been Peterson’s 59th birthday, Raise Up Off Me is a powerful closing statement by the jazz giant that was carefully and meticulously prepared before his passing earlier this month. Peterson’s long-time bandmates and collaborators Zaccai and Luques Curtis are featured here on piano and bass respectively, along with special guests Jazzmeia Horn and percussionist Eguie Castrillo. Raise Up Off Me will be available on all digital platforms, as a compact disc and a special edition double vinyl LP. "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" was the lead single from Diana Ross's 1991 album The Force Behind the Power released on the Motown label in the US and by EMI in the UK. The song, a sentimental ballad, was the album's biggest hit, peaking at number thirty-seven on the US Billboard R&B singles chart while peaking at number-two on the UK Top 75 singles chart. Ross considers it one of her signature songs. The song was recorded in a duet form by Dolly Parton and Julio Iglesias for the latter's 1994 album Crazy. A single was released in 1995 which managed to chart in the the Netherlands for three weeks: entering at position 48, peaking at 45, and in its final week charting at number 49.In 1998 Iglesias re-recorded the duet with Chinese singer Coco Lee and released it as a single to promote his compilation My Life: The Greatest Hits. Despite this, CoCo Lee's version was not included on the actual album, but rather Parton's.Diana Ross re-recorded her song, When You Tell Me That You Love Me, with Irish boy band Westlife, in 2005 for their Face To Face album. It was the second single taken from the album. The song was the 39th best selling single of 2005 in the UK.
