A study of minor events in the adolescence of a boy growing up in small towns. Daniel lives with his grandmother and, after one year of high school, has to go to live with his mother in the south of France. She is a seamstress living in a tiny apartment with her lover Jose, a Spanish farm worker. Daniel would like to continue school, but his mother cannot afford it, so she sends him to work as an apprentice in a moped repair shop. Daniel wiles away his time in the shop, and learns about girls from the other boys in town. When he returns to visit his grandmother next year, it is obvious that he has grown up faster than his old friends.

Quand il s’excuse –très souvent– de ne pas souhaiter répondre aux interviews, Jean-Jacques Goldman répond invariablement que tout est dans ses chansons.Tout est là, quelques fois caché derrière des refrains si populaires qu’on en oublie parfois le sens profond. Avec ses producteurs les plus proches et ceux qui l’ont connu très tôt comme Maxime Le Forestier, avec Didier Varrod son premier biographe, avec ceux qui l’ont magnifiquement interprété, Johnny Hallyday, Céline Dion, Patricia Kaas notamment, nous racontons l’histoire souvent méconnue de 30 chansons de Jean-Jacques Goldman.

The main character, a fan of three French actresses is a bald-headed, potbellied man on the fifties, but fully devotes himself to them, and sometimes works for them without being recognized. But those star actresses find him a simple stalker fan and make fun of him, but later recognize he is sincere and genuine.
Passionné par les actrices, Robert est sans doute le fan le plus collant du cinéma français. Agent de service la nuit dans une grande agence artistique, il consacre toutes ses journées à "ses" stars, qu'il suit sans relâche, et dont il n'hésite pas à se mêler de la vie. Réunies sur un même tournage, ses trois actrices préférées découvrent un jour qu'elles ont le même problème… avec le même fan. Elles vont alors décider de s'unir pour lui régler son compte : elles étaient ses idoles… elles vont devenir son pire cauchemar !
