Robert Hazard didn't even sing on his biggest hit. In 1982, Cyndi Lauper covered Hazard's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," a track that he originally wrote and recorded on a 1979 demo. Hazard's version was never released. Hazard's follow-up, the 1981 new wave classic "Escalator of Life," became a radio favorite in Philadelphia, Hazard's hometown. Combining David Bowie's deep, brooding vocals with Gary Numan's futuristic synthesizers, "Escalator of Life" was tailor-made for the "rock of the '80s" radio format gaining steam at the time. Hazard and his group, the Heroes, then recorded a self-titled EP, selling over 100,000 copies in the Philadelphia area.

One of his most obscure albums, Invisible Connections is quite different from the majority of Vangelis's work. It has been compared to minimalist experimental music. Despite this, it can very loosely be said to belong to a trilogy of his 80's albums, the other two being Soil Festivities from 1984, and Mask from the same year as Invisible Connections.

Hannes Wader (born Hans Eckard Wader on 23 June 1942) is a German songwriter (Liedermacher), singer and guitarist. Waterloo is the second studio album by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was originally released in Sweden on 4 March 1974 through Polar Music. The album's title track won ABBA the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Waterloo was first released on CD in Sweden in 1988; a West German CD release followed in 1990 (later released internationally). The album has been reissued in digitally remastered form three times; first in 1997, then in 2001 and again in 2005 as part of The Complete Studio Recordings box set.
