He's an appealingly confident showman on his cable access-style variety show (The Mike Adams Show), and an affably humble Hoosier touring musician on his podcast (Tan Van Tour Talk). As Mike Adams at His Honest Weight, he's a hooky songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a knack for embodying contradictions. The latest in a prolific stream of recordings, Guess for Thrills gets deep, blending 70's-inspired pop songs with synthesizer-driven atmospherics and emerging with a wild and searching album that treats ambiguity as a place of discovery.

Mike Adams at his Honest Weight taps into the Indiana Rock Sound on Graphic Blandishment. Recorded primarily at home during These Uncertain Times®, Adams' latest draws from influences as diverse as The Mamas & the Papas, Superdrag, Black Bananas, and Roger Miller. The result is 12 inches chock full of God's top-shelf good stuff (we're talking about harmony, big hooks, creative home production, and efficient attitude!). Subject matter includes literal Death, identity and anxiety, real Love, Mike's cat Tammy, and a bunch of other stuff.

On Casino Drone, his third solo album, Mike Adams at His Honest Weight emerges as both a Hoosier power-pop auteur and a poet of the Indiana everyday. Written for jazz orchestra, voice, cello, and percussion, it features art songs set for chamber ensemble that take the form of imaginary letters to or from selected “protagonists” – naturalist authors, artists, and activists who dedicated their lives to appreciating and protecting the earth we inhabit. Each of the vocal works is followed by an instrumental jazz orchestra piece that reflects upon the text of the letter. Recorded and premiered by the GRAMMY® nominated Gotham Jazz Orchestra in June 2023, a double album is scheduled for release on 14th of June 2024.

Since its release in 1984, "Reckless" has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The album was the turning point in Adams' career, leading him to tour all over the world and garner legions of fans with his legendary live shows. The 'Reckless' reissue has been personally overseen by Bryan working with many of the original team including Bob Clearmountain, Bob Ludwig and Jim Vallance. The 2014 deluxe remaster by Bob Ludwing enticingly includes seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. These tracks were written as demos with Jim Vallance - the co-writer on the Reckless album. Of utmost interest to fans will be the actual inclusion of the track 'Reckless' which due to deadlines did not make it onto the original album.
