La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and UME present the remastered and expanded 2-CD reissue of acclaimed composer Dave Grusin’s (THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, THE GOONIES, HAVANA) Academy Award-nominated original motion picture score to the 1993 Paramount Pictures blockbuster drama THE FIRM, starring Tom Cruise, Ed Harris and Holly Hunter, and directed by Sydney Pollack. Grusin’s beautiful, piano-only score is both unique and powerful. Passionate, dramatic and suspenseful, it is an important work finally given the deluxe treatment it has always warranted. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and re-mastered by Doug Schwartz, this special 2-CD release has been significantly expanded beyond its original 1993 soundtrack release (which is also included here on Disc 2). Exclusive in-depth liner notes by writer Jeff Bond takes you behind-the-scenes of this hit film and its notable score, with new interview comments from the composer. Featuring 100 original tracks, it's a deep dive into the Mod scene in '60s Britain. Including a selection of classic and rare tracks, tracing the scene from it's R&B roots to a soulful finale. Curated by Acid Jazz Records and Modcast founder Eddie Piller, and featuring new sleeve notes from respected author and broadcaster Paul 'Smiler' Anderson. As Eddie Piller points out in the forward to the extensive sleeve notes that accompany this collection, he chose the word 'Sounds' carefully, reflecting the variety of talent contained here, from uncool session musicians without an ounce of style in them, acts who saw an opportunity to jump on the Mod bandwagon and bands who whole heartedly embraced Mod way of life. And so this new collection mixes the Mod mainstays (Small Faces, The High Numbers, The Action, The Fleur de Lys), with a generous selection of future superstars (David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Marc Bolan, Jeff Beck and Graham Gouldman of 10cc are all represented here), and a few artists so obscure, so rare, that they never got to release a record in the '60s, but Eddie has tracked down the tapes nonetheless. Expanded release of beautiful score for Adrian Lyne romantic drama Indecent Proposal, starring Robert Redford, Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson makes wonderful premiere. 1993 album offered numerous songs heard in film plus 26-minute medley of score highlights in one single track. New Intrada score-only CD features 74 minutes of rich, sumptuous Barry. Movie chronicles intriguing offer by Redford of one million dollars for single night with Moore, wife of Harrelson. Young happily-married couple see it as opportunity to build their dream house but story soon ventures much deeper. Love, jealousy, heartbreak all play roles. John Barry underlines all in signature 90's "nostalgia" style. Main theme is gorgeous albeit sad-tinged melody for piano, strings. Harmonies both major, minor play important role throughout. Two additional secondary themes further enrich haunting, sensual score. Romantic film scoring with hint of sadness became hallmark of Barry's final decade of composing. Indecent Proposal remains one of his most beautiful efforts!

Made in the A.M. is the fifth studio album by the English-Irish boy band One Direction, released on 13 November 2015, by Columbia Records and Syco Music. The album is the group's first without member Zayn Malik, who left the group in March 2015, and will be their last before taking an extended hiatus in 2016. The album was preceded by the internationally successful singles "Drag Me Down", released on 31 July 2015, and "Perfect", released on 16 October 2015. Upon its release, the record has received generally favourable reviews from critics. It debuted atop the UK Albums Chart with 93,189 copies sold and at number two on the US Billboard 200 with 402,000 first-week sales. Even though it became the band's first album not to top the chart, its first-week sales were higher than previous number one album Four, which reached the summit with a lower 387,000 first-week sales in 2014. Elsewhere the album reached number one in Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Finland and Belgium as well as reaching the top-three in most other markets.

"Mob Rules" is the 10th studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in November 1981. It followed 1980's "Heaven and Hell", it was the 2nd album to feature lead singer Ronnie James Dio and the first with drummer Vinny Appice. Neither musician would appear on a Black Sabbath studio album again until the 1992 album Dehumanizer. Produced and engineered by Martin Birch, the album received an expanded edition release in 2010.
