In Dowland’s words: “ingenuous profession of Musicke, which from my childhoode I have ever aymed at,… the better to attain so excellent a science”. Mike Fentross achieves this “divine science of musicke” by wooing his audience by “speaking harmony” on his sweet lute. His art entwines harmony and poetry, albeit often a melancholic art, which is then framed by the proportions of rhythm. His art teaches, stirs and delights the heart and soul of his honorable listeners in profound ways. Mike Fentross first studied with Toyohiko Satoh at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, then with Nigel North and José Miguel Moreno.

Formed in 1985 by the bassist and one of the founding members of Genesis, Mike Rutherford, Mike + The Mechanics have gone on to enjoy success the world-over. The mechanics are best known for their hit singles "Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)", "All I Need Is a Miracle", "Taken In", "Over My Shoulder", and "The Living Years". The Masters Collection delivers an introduction to the bands body of work spanning an illustrious 30 years, and includes tracks from their top 10 2017 album ‘Let Me Fly’.

Legendary guitarist Mike Stern has been celebrated for his versatile playing style since he first hit the scene in the 1970s, transcending genre by performing with Blood, Sweat & Tears, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, The Brecker Brothers, David Sanborn, Béla Fleck, Yellowjackets and more. With Echoes and Other Songs, Stern brings together an all-star group of musicians (including Chris Potter, Jim Beard, Christian McBride, Antonio Sanchez, Richard Bona & Dennis Chambers) for 11 brand-new originals that will captivate and unite guitar and jazz fans of all generations.

With all of its members exercising their expertise, the debut album from Mike + the Mechanics posted two Top Ten singles in the span of three months. The songwriting comes out on top before anything else, with the somber stir of "Silent Running," the record's first release, peaking at number six. "All I Need Is a Miracle" followed at number five, with its Genesis-like tempo and polished chorus, and even "Taken In" cracked the Top 40, a simple ballad that's bettered by Paul Young's genuine emotional charm. Carrack sounds just as sharp as he did with Ace or Squeeze throughout the album's nine tracks, while Rutherford's overseeing of the entire project is apparent. After suffering a debilitating shoulder injury from years of touring and endless recording sessions, cellist Ofra Harnoy underwent reconstructive surgery in 2015. A successful physical therapy allowed her to return to the stage in 2018 and, earlier this year, to start recording her much anticipated comeback album, Back to Bach. It is an album of profound musicality and passion which features Baroque favourites, such as Bach’s Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3 andBist du bei mir, as well as some lesser known gems from composers such as Allegri and Corelli.

Mike Zito is one who enjoys returning to his blues roots, playing electric guitar and ripping though songs with his sawtooth-sharp voice. Pearl River – his fifth album – is quite different than the previous effort Today, which was more rock-oriented, and focuses on not only contemporary urban tunes but a few acoustic folk-oriented ones, and the basis of all of his music, the sound of New Orleans. He's got help from guitarist Anders Osborne and keyboardist Reese Wynans from Stevie Ray Vaughan's band, and there are guest appearances from Cyril Neville, Johnny Sansone, Lynwood Slim, Randy Chortkoff (also his producer,) and Susan Cowsill (yes, she of the Cowsills fame). It's good to hear Zito dig deep into songs like the title track, Neville's pure, slow blues, the New Orleans shuffle treatment of Sonny Boy Williamson's "Eyesight to the Blind," and Mel London's rocksteady "Sugar Sweet."

Mike Patton and renowned French composer Jean-Claude Vannier, who is perhaps best known for his work with Serge Gainsbourg, have come together on the 12-song album, Corpse Flower.

Mike Morgan is back with a few surprises up his sleeve. "Texas Man" is the first CD where you will find the Dallas native as both guitarist and lead vocalist. The self-produced album not only features Mike singing for the first time, but fans can hear him backed by some of the best in the business. Fellow Texans Anson Funderburgh and Johnny Moeller lay down the rhythm guitar tracks and top-notch harp man, Gary Primich, lends his talents as well. On "Texas Man," Mike has managed to mix together the styles of Hound Dog Taylor, Earl Hooker and Elmore James and make it his own.
