Formed in 1985 by Genesis founding member Mike Rutherford, Mike + The Mechanics released their first album in 1985 and have gone on to achieve an enviable string of hit singles and albums but it was with 1988s Living Years that the band had the biggest success of their career. Their Living Years 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition celebrates this musical milestone with a whole host of special extras. Along with the original studio album, the 2-CD set features a bonus disc of live recordings from the 1989 Living Years UK tour along with the song The Living Years 2014 which has been re-recorded with the South African Isango Choir and Andrew Roachford on lead vocals.

Say What You Want (All Day, Every Day) is the 1998 single by British band Texas, who were joined by Method Man and The RZA of American rap group Wu-Tang Clan. This features two mixes of that plus two mixes of "Insane".

Collectables' Michael Bolotin / Every Day of My Life contains Michael Bolton's first two albums on one CD. During this time, Bolton was going by his given name, Bolotin, and was trying to be a hard-rocker. He may have had the voice for it - his raspy wail does sound better with louder guitars than with soft-rock synthesizers - but these records don't really work, since the material is very, very uneven (the originals are weak; the covers are good, but ill-suited for this hard rock) and the arena-rock wannabe production dates both albums badly, making them only of interest for completists. Those completists, however, should be happy with Collectables' release, even if it does omit "If I Had Your Love" from Every Day of My Life, since the disc has good sound and decent packaging.

The Dudes Doin' Business is an album by organist Jimmy McGriff and vocalist Junior Parker featuring performances recorded in 1970 and originally released on the Capitol label. The album was reissued as Good Things Don't Happen Every Day on the Groove Merchant label in 1972.
