Modern Talking was a German pop duo consisting of arranger, songwriter and producer Dieter Bohlen and singer Thomas Anders. They have been referred to as Germany's most successful pop duo, and have had a number of hit singles, reaching the top five in many countries. Their most popular singles are "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want", "Cheri, Cheri Lady", "Brother Louie", "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)" and "Geronimo's Cadillac".

Also for many great hit stars like Andrea Berg, Beatrice Egli and Vanessa Mai, he composed one hit after the other. For over 14 years he has been the head judge and co-producer of the successful format 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' at RTL.

Der Spitzname »Poptitan« kommt nicht von ungefähr, denn Dieter Bohlen zeichnete im Laufe seiner über 30-jährigen Karriere als Musiker und Produzent schon für so manchen Hit verantwortlich. The Modern Jazz Quartet (MJQ) was a jazz combo established in 1952 that played music influenced by classical, cool jazz, blues and bebop. The Quartet consisted of John Lewis (piano), Milt Jackson (vibraphone), Percy Heath (double bass), and various drummers, most notably Kenny Clarke (from 1952 to 1955) and Connie Kay (from 1955 to 1994). The group grew out of the rhythm section of Dizzy Gillespie's big band from 1946 to 1948, which consisted of Lewis, Jackson, and Clarke along with bassist Ray Brown.
