Christmas Raindance is a 1998 compilation CD of holiday songs released by First Strike. However, it does not list any names on the disc itself so it is uncertain of this was made by a collection of artists or just one musician or a group of musicians. This is why it is credited to "Unknown Artist" but the songs were originally performed by known people.

The unknown sound collective creates sound art compositions of organic field recordings, experimental voice, and minimal instrumentation- a noise and freak folk ensemble that tends towards the otherworldly, often paired with other media. The project is founded by poet and interdisciplinary artist elena botts (mourning dove) who organizes projects & shows by the unknown sound collective virtually & irl (in real life).
