Money in The Streets

The album is a classic Streets album - filled with Skinner’s trademark lyrical wizardry and beats honed over a decade of building his other career as a legitimate bass/rap DJ in clubs - all songs written by Skinner but featuring vocal contributions from longtime collaborators Kevin Mark Trail and Robert Harvey, as well as a track featuring Teef. The songs on the album soundtrack the film and also play the role of narrator of the film at times - and whilst neither the album or film exist without each other - both can be enjoyed separately.

The Drifters can also claim a unique place in popular music history, as a major R&B group founded at the instigation of a record-label chief. Their story began in early 1953, when Clyde McPhatter, the soaring high-tenor lead singer in the Dominoes, a vocal quintet formed by Billy Ward three years earlier, quit that group.

Paul Revere & the Raiders were hard-working American Rock & Roll band of the 1960s who gained plenty of hits but suffered in comparison with their flashier British counterparts. One of the most popular and entertaining rock groups of the 1960s, Paul Revere & the Raiders enjoyed seven years of serious chart action, and during their three biggest years (1966-1969), sold records in numbers behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. This Dutton Vocalion's reissue combines pair of the band's albums - "Hard 'n' Heavy (with Marshmallow)" from 1969 and "Indian Reservation" from 1971, which features their first U.S. number one single (Indian Reservation).
