This CD presents five world premiere recordings of acoustic and electronic works by the Danish composer Rune Glerup (b. 1981). Instead of offering a narrative flow of music, Glerup uniquely allows the listener to move around among independent three-dimensional blocks of sound with powerful energy fields between them.

Rune Alvers' CD Le nouveau Grieg is currently being digitally relaunched on the LAWO Classics label. The CD was recorded on Edvard Grieg's own grand piano at Troldhaugen Bergen in 2007. The term Le nouveau Grieg - The new Grieg, refers to the composer's Slåtter op. 72, which is included in its entirety on the CD along with Lyriske stykker op. 71. However, tonight's concert presents a broader selection of Edvard Grieg's production with verbal intros of a historical and musical nature.

"Impromptu Works By The Young Signe Lund" is the last of two CDs featuring the composer's total output for piano. The first one, "Etudes poetiques" (LWC1196), was released in 2020. The works on this recording date from the years of Signe Lund's youth up to her breakthrough around 1900. Piano music that could not be included for lack of space is available on the digital release Malgre moi accessible on Spotify, iTunes, Tidal and other digital platforms.
