Blutengel are a German electronic music group formed by singer Chris Pohl (also of the groups Terminal Choice, Tumor, and Miss Construction and the owner of the Fear Section label) after he had to leave Seelenkrank due to contractual and legal problems. The lyrics are written primarily in German and English and are presented with male and female vocals. The themes of the songs usually centre around themes common in Gothic fiction such as love, vampirism, sexual fetishism, death, and immortality. The band calls their musical style dark pop…
With a 20-year music career, full of important albums for the Italian progressive rock scene released among the old and new millennium, the Doracor project - a curious anagram of keyboardist and composer Corrado Sardella’s name - lands on AMS Records with what’s likely his most ambitious work ever: "Passioni Postmoderne di un Musicista Errante…", a double concept album inspired by Robert Lanza’s theory of biocentrism, and in particular on the subject of memories and experiences coming from present and past lives.

Philippe Manoury (born 1952) is an unashamed modernist, but his works have an immediate sensual and intellectual appeal that should make them of interest to broad audiences. His rhythmic vocabulary, while not simple, is straightforward and easy to follow, and his harmonic language is richly chromatic but not grindingly dissonant. Most importantly, his works have a comprehensible dramatic arc; this is music that is telling a story, one compelling enough to demand the interest of listeners paying close attention.
