This Ozzy compilation from Sony Japan may boast only ten cuts, but at least they're all good. In fact, Best of Ozz holds up as one of the better collections out there, due in part to its reliance on material from Osbourne's first four albums, Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, and The Ultimate Sin. Songs like "Over the Mountain," "Mr. Crowley," and "Crazy Train," peppered with the brilliant guitar work of Randy Rhodes, are bona fide Ozzy classics, and "Shot in the Dark," "The Ultimate Sin," and "Bark at the Moon," peppered with the brilliant guitar work of Jake E. Lee, are mid-period classics. While by no means a career retrospective, Best of Ozz is a nice little sampler of Osbourne's early post-Sabbath career.

The Ozzman Cometh is a compilation album by British heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne released in 1997. It is his third greatest hits collection. Its initial, limited edition 2-CD pressing contained five previously unreleased songs. Versions released in 2002 and later have only one disc, and the song "Shot in the Dark" is replaced by "Miracle Man". This was due to a legal action brought about by the song's co-writer, Phil Soussan, for unpaid royalties. The compilation won a 1997 Metal Edge Readers' Choice Award for Best Hits or Compilation Album…

CD with 16-page booklet included."We are delighted to release these compilations. Songs that for various reasons were left out of our studio albums. Now our audience can listen through all B-sides in chronological order and it's a pure joy to reminisce all the way back to 1993. It's almost like a forgotten record, or rather four. We hope you'll enjoy the 13-year ride!" - The Cardigans

"This live double album, recorded in 1981 but not released until five years after Randy Rhoads' death, showcases a hard rock guitarist whose all-around ability was arguably second only to Eddie Van Halen. Osbourne leads his best band lineup through the entire Blizzard repertoire, plus a few Diary and Sabbath numbers. Of special note are Rhoads' unaccompanied solos, leaving no doubts about his virtuosity, and the studio outtakes of his short solo piece, "Dee." Rhoads' entire output is absolutely essential for guitar freaks, but he sounds even better live than in the studio." - AllMusic

Ozzy Osbourne has gotten more mileage out of live albums than any other hard rocker because he knows how to play the game. He knows how to make each record special, or at least a little bit different. Usually, this just means showcasing his new guitarist; at other times it just means showing off the new material. With Live and Loud, a double-disc set released in 1993, it was a combination of parading Zakk Wylde in a live setting and putting together a nifty limited-edtion package (the initial CD pressing of the album was designed as a mock speaker and contained two tattoos).
