Planetentöne sind Töne, deren Frequenz auf der Basis von Rotations- oder Umlaufszeiten von Planeten unseres Sonnensystems oktavanalog berechnet werden (Sonifikation). Die Beschäftigung mit ihnen beruht auf dem Wunsch von einigen Musiktheoretikern, ein Tonsystem zu erhalten, das auf astronomischen, periodischen Prozessen beruht. Die aus den Daten der Erde errechneten Töne werden im Allgemeinen ebenfalls den Planetentönen zugeordnet. Die Tonhöhe (Frequenz) wird willkürlich durch sukzessive Verdoppelung (Oktavierung) der astronomisch bestimmten Rotations- oder Umlaufrequenzen festgelegt, bis ein für das menschliche Ohr gut hörbarer Frequenzbereich erreicht ist.-Wikipedia

Vier halbstündige Titel sind auf den beiden CD’s enthalten. Die erste drei bringen die Töne der Erde, der Sonne und des Mondes zu Gehör.
Aufgrund der mathematischen Berechnungen von Hans Cousto konnten den Planeten unseres Sonnensystem Töne zugeordnet werden: der Erde ein G, der Sonne ein Cis und dem Mond ein Gis. Beim letzten Titel, dem "Shiva-Shakti-Klang",ertönen Sonne und Mond gleichzeitig, die Vereinigung des männlichen und weiblichen Prinzips.

Dance Of The Elements - Hidden Stories Vol. 1 (1992). "Dance of the Elements" is Andreas' third release on the excellent German CD label, Musique Intemporelle. The title cut is a very dynamic piece. The atmospheric "Slow Motion" is next, taking you on a trip down a musical river with new and exotic discoveries around each bend. The fourth cut, "Australia," is a haunting blend of Aboriginal samples and ethnic instruments combined with synths to create a wonderful fusion of ancient and high-tech musical influences.
