Robert Ealey is no spring chicken. After singing in local Texas bands for years, he finally started recording in the '90s – I Like Music When I Party was the fourth album he cut after starting his recording career. Like the others, it's a greasy colleciton of Texas blues, spiked with a bit of soul. Ealey's voice may be gravelly with age, but it's by no means gone, and with the support of his youthful backing band, he can really bring it home. There's nothing deep here – just party music, played good and simple. Sometimes, that's enough.

The collection comprises ten discs, including all eight of her solo studio albums from the past three decades; Butterfly, a new studio set featuring four new songs and six reinterpreted selections from her catalog, all arranged for string quartet; and Rarities, a collection of fifteen rare and previously unreleased tracks recorded between 1998 and 2017, which offers a unique view of Merchant's creative experimentation through home studio demos, album outtakes, live tracks, and collaborations with diverse artists like Billy Bragg, David Byrne, The Chieftains, Cowboy Junkies, and Amy Helm.

Natalie Dessay reinvents the cult repertoire of poet Claude Nougaro. A project arranged, directed and directed by the emblematic Yvan Cassar, who was the director of Nougaro's last two albums.
