Hida-Takayama Virtuoso Orchestra was founded by professional musicians who are associated with Hida area. The first concert in January 2005 was great success. The members consist of top players who have been successful both Japan and oversea. Hiroki Tochimoto (Trumpet), from Hida Takayama, Junichi Mori (Bassoon), from Hida Gero, Hiroyuki Kanaki (Cello), who has been holding concerts at Hida-Kawai Town for many years, and Eiji Arai as a concertmaster. The style of their concerts are self-conducted, and it gives collision of soul of musicians. In addition to orchestral style concerts, they have ensemble concerts with brass, woodwinds, percussion and strings. Also, they have been working on collaborate concerts with Japanese traditional dance, Wadaiko Drums, and musicals to challenge new style of music. They hold community-based mini concerts at schools and hospitals, and are expected to be know as "our town orchestra".
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the greatest media event in classical music, Sony Classical released in 2015 a complete edition of all the works ever played at the Wiener Philharmoniker’s New Year’s Concerts. Performed in the “Golden Hall” of the Musikverein between 1941 and 2015, the iconic live performances were issued for the first time in a single box set of 23 CDs. Now, in 2020, this edition will be available as a 26-CD extended version, with all the new repertoire from the last five years compiled on three additional CDs.

The box features 27 CDs & five blu-rays and includes newly remastered versions of every Camel album and single issued between 1973 and 1984, but also includes new stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound versions of five albums, as well as new mixes of three concerts; The Marquee Club, London 1974, Hammersmith Odeon 1976 and Hammersmith Odeon 1977. The package also features previously unreleased outtakes from album recording sessions and BBC Radio ‘In Concert’ appearances from 1974, 1975, 1977 and 1981.
