One Eleven Heavy Desire Path

Two years after their self-titled debut album, My Inner Burning is ready to present their second offering "Eleven Scars”. The album consists of 11 dynamic metal tracks with a mixture of gothic, rock and pop.

Another lost gem for lovers of Japanese psych and hard rock, this time from the inspirational ‘70s prog outfit, Strawberry Path. From its extremely cool front cover to the last track, this is an album that will appeal to garage fans, psych heads, mondo music lovers and acid freaks alike, merging as it does a variety of Western influences, ranging from Jimi Hendrix (check out Shigeru Narumo’s hard psych guitar) to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Originally relased in 1971, Strawberry Path were the forerunners of Japanese Flied Egg, one of the most influential Japanese prog bands to emerge in the ‘70s.

„The Path Of Salvation“ is the third full length-album of the Power Metal-band STORMRIDER from Herne, released by Pure Steel. With their debut „Shipwrecked“ from 2005 (which has been unleashed by Underground Symphony) and the second album „Fate Of The Hunter“ from 2008 (which was full of great hymns and also released by Pure Steel), they won a great fellowship in the German underground-scene. This crowd will love their new masterpiece as well for sure. There’s no better way of celebrating their 10th anniversary than with a new, powerful release!

On September 3rd, Portrait will release their new album, At One with None, via Metal Blade Records. When it comes to modern heavy metal, there are few bands operating at the same level as Portrait. For a decade and a half, the Swedish unit have been forging their own path, and in the process, infusing life into a longstanding, well-established genre and taking it in new directions. Following up 2017′s acclaimed Burn The World, they return with the mighty At One With None, which was recorded at JFK Studios in Kristianstad, Sweden with Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Hatesphere) handling the mixing. While Portrait fans will immediately recognize it as the work of their heroes, they are not simply rehashing old ideas and treading where they have before. “One simple ‘rule’ that I have had personally is that no song written for this album and onwards should be similar to any song that we have already written and released. We have been doing this for 15 years now, and I am proud to say that I think we have managed to find our own identity and sound, which can’t really be said about that many bands today. This is our greatest achievement, and the goal is to keep exploring and developing our own sound, without repeating ourselves.” The results of working with this philosophy are undeniable, making for an essential addition to the Portrait canon.
