The Funky Butt Brass Band is a soulful collection of six St. Louis-based musicians who respect and revere the New Orleans brass band tradition. The full details of the soundtrack album for Pixar’s animated feature Onward have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) and Jeff Danna (The Addams Family, Storks, The Boondock Saints) who have previously scored the studios’ The Good Dinosaur. Also included is the original end credits song Carried Me With You performed by Brandi Carlile who also co-wrote the track with Phil Hanseroth and Tim Hanseroth.
