Oscar Gustavsson

When one attends a PianoBasso concert, they experience classical music in a subtle and intimate way. The music is presented as a unit of various pieces separated by gentle improvisations creating a meditative mood. Thomas Gustavsson’s piano is heard in many other contexts. For 20 years he has been a member of the world touring New Tide Orquesta. He is also a freelance pianist often working for the Church of Sweden as well as being an accompanist for various folk and jazz singers. Andreas Gustafson plays double bass and electric bass. He is often engaged as a musician at folk of jazz concerts as well as at concerts of sacred music. This release features classics from JS Bach, Camille Saint-Saens, Debussy, and others, as well as an improvisation by the artists.
