A limited edition of the Camaron de la Isla 'Integral' box-set. It represents a veritable journey through his life and singing. It includes 21 original albums. The first 17 of them were made in recording studios by Camaron from 1969 to 1992 while he was alive. The title of his new album in 1975 seems to indicate the path politics would take, because of its reference to "majestad" (majesty, or King). "Arte y majestad" is a work in the Camaron manner as few others -his styles and vocal twistings are presents in each track, although the authorship of the cuts is still signed by Antonio Sanchez. To prove it, all that is needed is to listen to the "soleares", "tarantas" (the credits say "tarantos"), "seguiriyas" and "bulerias", outstanding the one dedicated to his admired Curro Romero, in which Paco de Lucia gave a preview of some sounds from the coming "Almoraima".

The picture on the front jacket cover is the same one used in the previous album, but with another shade and design. "Camaron de la Isla" appears in larger type than Paco de Lucia, whose "special collaboration" is reduced to "collaboration". Ramon de Algeciras continues to play second guitar. Antonio Sanchez still appears as the author in the credits.

The eighth album in Camaron de la Isla's discography with Philips record company, "with the special collaboration of Paco de Lucia" and Ramon de Algeciras on guitar. A varied summary of flamenco styles - from the Chacon taranta to El Mellizo tientos, with sevillanas and fandangos caracoleros in between - which was dubbed at the time as a "jewel of a record".
"La leyenda del tiempo" marked a giant step in the renewal of flamenco, both for originating from Camaron - who by now moved the masses around him - as well as for the bravery of including rock and jazz instrumentation in flamenco". Camaron de la Isla is one of the finest flamenco musicians Spain has ever produced, and this is perhaps his best album. It is one of the first–and most powerful–instances of traditional flamenco being melded with modern sounds (e.g. electric bass guitar and backing drums) but is LIGHT YEARS better than the hollow, fluffy modern flamenco fusion so popular today. Mixing traditional cante jondo with rock-influence, deep bass famenco fusions, "Leyenda del Tiemp" provides an amazing experience every listen.
