"Splinter In The Eye" is a concept album based on a modern-day dystopian story. "The desire to realise something like this was always there" says Jens Lueck, alias Single Celled Organism. In his youth, influenced by some older friends, he was inspired by Genesis and Pink Floyd and from the beginning his bands were to be found in the segment of Progressive/Art Rock. In the course of time the journey took him through different music-projects that he was involved in, for example, Soundtrack, World Music, Electronic, Art-Pop, but always it had to be a bit special.
The project name Single Celled Organism describes very well the formation process of the album. Some (of Jens Lueck’s) old friends also perform in the recordings: the Electric guitar players, Ingo Salzmann and Jan Petersen (ex Sylvan), with whom Jens Lueck had worked already on many projects in the past, the acoustic-guitar player, Dieter Koch, the recorder player, Volker Kuinke (among others Eloy)…

A German one-man project Single Celled Organism was founded by a drummer/multi-instrumentalist Jens Lueck, who is familiar with pop, jazz, or rock, from Abba, Pat Metheny, to APP, Eloy, Supertramp, especially 70s progressive/art rock scene like Camel, Pink Floyd or Genesis.
For his brainchild, Jens invited his partner/companion Isgaard Marke, and completed to create material for his debut album in collaboration with his old music friends/musicians like Ingo Salzmann (guitars), Jan Petersen (guitars, ex-Sylvan), Dieter Koch (acoustic guitar), Volker Kuinke (recorder), Katja Flintsch (violin, viola), or Annika Stolze (violoncello). "Splinter In The Eye" was released upon October 20, 2017.
"Percipio Ergo Sum" (2021) is again a concept album and carries on the story of the previous album "Splinter in the Eye"…

Paratuberculosis: Organism, Disease, Control by Marcel Behr

Paratuberculosis, also referred to as Johne's disease, affects principally cattle, goats, sheep, buffalo, deer and other ruminants. It is common worldwide and responsible for significant economic losses in the ruminant livestock industries. A timely follow up to the first book on Paratuberculosis, this new edition is still the only comprehensive text providing both historical context and the latest developments in the field. Examining the epidemiology of paratuberculosis, the organism that causes the disease, and practical aspects of its diagnosis and control, it also addresses the link between paratuberculosis in the food chain and human health implications, including Crohn's disease. This new edition:

Behaviourism in Studying Swarms: Logical Models of Sensing and Motoring By Andrew Schumann
English | PDF,EPUB | 2018 (2019 Edition) | 477 Pages | ISBN : 331991541X | 21.83 MB

This book presents fundamental theoretical results for designing object-oriented programming languages for controlling swarms. It studies the logics of swarm behaviours. According to behaviourism, all behaviours can be controlled or even managed by stimuli in the environment: attractants (motivational reinforcement) and repellents (motivational punishment). At the same time, there are two main stages in reactions to stimuli: sensing (perceiving signals) and motoring (appropriate direct reactions to signals).
