Paul McCartney is to release a massive seven-inch singles vinyl box set next month. The 7″ Singles contains 80 vinyl seven-inch singles, starting with 1970’s ‘Another Day’ and working through the decades to ‘Women and Wives’ from 2020’s McCartney III.There are 65 recreations of singles/promos using restored artwork from 11 different countries. Additionally 15 singles are included that have never before been issued on seven-inch. These are mostly digital-only releases or songs that were for other reasons not issued on seven-inch.

Last Flight: The Complete 1979 Glasgow Concert is a 1998 double bootleg CD by Paul McCartney and his band, Wings. It is a soundboard recording originally made for a live album that didn't materialize, the only thing that was released as his version of "Coming Up" for his then-forthcoming album, McCartney II. It also features his performance at the Concert For The People Of Kampuchea. This disc was released by the Vigotone label.

Released in April 1973 and featuring the #1 single ‘My Love,’ Red Rose Speedway was the first Wings album to hit #1 on the U.S. chart. Red Rose Speedway was released in 1973 to what can only be described as a turgidly tepid reception by both rock critics and fans alike, and has largely, even by McCartney fanatics, been relegated to a rating slightly higher than forgettable. Now whilst this album has its detractors and defenders, me being both, the real tragedy behind this album’s release is that we only got half of the content upon release.

Neither the dippy, rustic Wild Life nor the slick AOR flourishes of Red Rose Speedway earned Paul McCartney much respect, so he made the self-consciously ambitious Band on the Run to rebuke his critics.
