2008 release from the Australian band, their fifth album overall. All India Radio mix a little Portishead with a dash of Boards Of Canada and Cinematic Orchestra to create the breathtaking soundscapes. This album represents the next step in the band's evolution with the addition of singer/co-writer Leona Prue to the lineup. While the music draws on the lush atmospheric qualities of previous albums, Leona's thoroughly entrancing voice adds a new focus, creating a warm and expansive landscape of music, melody and voice. Best known for their hit single "Walking on a Dream," Australia's larger-than-life electro-glam-pop duo Empire of the Sun feature the Sleepy Jackson's Luke Steele and Pnau's Nick Littlemore. Steele had previously worked with Pnau on "With You Forever," a track from the band's 2007 self-titled third album, and the pair enjoyed collaborating so much that they started their own project, drawing inspiration from the likes of Phoenix and Daft Punk. In fall 2008, Empire of the Sun released their debut album, Walking on a Dream, which the musicians described as "a spiritual road movie." Featuring songs co-written by Pnau's other half, Peter Mayes, the album went platinum in Australia and the title track became a hit single across the globe…

This re-issue of the 2007 album Reformation Post TLC comes with two bonus discs of demos, early rough mixes and alternate versions, as well as a fourth disc; the Live at Hammersmith Palais album – as with the other Fall reissues these have notes by Fall guru Daryl Easlea and have been mastered by long time engineer Andy Pearce.

The Fall were an English post-punk band, formed in Manchester in 1976. The band existed until 2018 and was essentially built around its founder and only constant member Mark E. Smith. Initially associated with the punk movement of the late 1970s, the group’s music went through several stylistic changes over the years, but is often characterised by an abrasive guitar-driven sound and frequent use of repetition, and is always underpinned by Smith’s distinctive vocals and often cryptic lyrics.
