Wie viel Fröhlichkeit kann ein Album überhaupt vertragen? – Diese Frage stellte sich Singer/Songwriter Christian Falk während, er an seinem Debütalbum Farbe & Dunkel arbeitete. Die Antwort: Vermutlich nicht zu viel, wenn es nicht belanglos oder das nächste Album von Max Giesinger werden soll. Als begeisterter Theatergänger liebt der Wahl-Bremer den Dualismus, das Spiel zwischen Gut und Böse, Glück und Unglück, Licht und Schatten. Für Farbe & Dunkel spielen genau diese Gegensätze eine tragende Rolle. „Meine Musik braucht Zeit. Sie ist nichts für das schnelle Vergnügen“, findet der 29-Jährige.
