With "Be Here Now (Remastered)" a remastered version of the legendary Oasis album will be released in 2016 - the title already reveals it.

The first solo album from Alison Cotton, All Quiet at the Ancient Theatre, was a masterful set of pieces that evoked ruined temples, heat shimmer and smoke curling from smoldering herbs. In her work as half of The Left Outsides, Cotton uses her wide open vocals to create electro-folk songs that sound as though they’ve been around forever. Recording solo, she strips the music back to make the sounds contained in fields and stones audible and eloquent. Only Darkness Now, originally out on cassette, is now available as a full release. Her second LP contains mysteries that unwind at the pace of a season changing, a time lapse of a record.

As Amelia Earhart is to aviation, as Julia Child is to the culinary arts, Alison Brown is to the five-string banjo. She has broadened the instrument’s sound and identity with her distinctive voice as a player and composer, taking the banjo far beyond its Appalachian roots and earning praise from a variety of national taste-makers including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR, and USA Today.

Fábio Caramuru’s music is colorful as terra roxa, a reddish purple soil found near his homeland of São Paulo, Brazil. Just like the fertile mix of minerals, gases, and liquids which enriches the ground for plant life, Caramuru’s work mixes fields such as cinema, music, and dance which prepare the heart for harvest. His music is earthy, yet precise. His chosen instrument is the piano: 88 keys coloring one ivory rainbow.

Blondshell’s self-titled era isn’t over yet. Come October 6th, Sabrina Teitelbaum will issue a digital deluxe edition of her debut full length, which she’s previewed with the new song “Street Rat.”

In the past few years, 25-year-old Sabrina Teitelbaum has transformed into a songwriter without fear. The loud-quiet excavations that comprise her hook-filled debut as Blondshell don’t only stare traumas in the eye - they tear them at the root and shake them, bringing precise detail to colossal feelings. They’re clear-eyed statements of and about digging your way toward confidence, self-possession, and relief.

This album is both a conclusion and a beginning. It was recorded during my first year in New York City and the music reflects that. It’s been a long time in the making and I’m very glad to finally put the final product out there. I hope that themusic will do its job in translating the rest of the thoughts behind it.
