"Bring On The Good Times" is the debut album by Dawn Patrol, a brand new Dutch collective led by the prolific producer, songwriter and musician Phil Martin (Jazzinvaders, AIFF, Martin & Garp) sets out to explore the essence of West Coast music, a late 70s Softrock spirit and European pop sensibility. Sharing the love for the sound and spirit of late Seventies pop music, Phil Martin and his likeminded musician partners in crime Rik van der Ouw and Ruud van Halder plus vocalists Baer Traa and Lo 'Garp' van Gorp recorded ten songs celebrating a pure freshness in pop harmonies and melodies.

This reissue will include three previously unreleased tracks from the album sessions, six original album track demos, 11 'Final Straw' tracks performed for their DVD concert film, 'Live at Somerset House' in 2004, plus new in depth and insightful liner notes written by Snow Patrol's lead singer, Gary Lightbody.

One of its key building blocks, says Gary, was the idea of love from the distance of time. “I haven’t been in a relationship for a very long time, 10 years or more, so love from a distance to me meant the way a relationship sits in your memory from a distance of, say, 10 years. When you’ve broken up with that person, you’re out in the street. You can still see the building, but you’re not in there anymore. And when it’s 10 years later, now you’re standing in Brooklyn looking at the Manhattan skyline.”"
