Bryce Janey digs deep on "Brand New Day" and has produced one of his strongest discs to date that lands old-school, timeless & classic. Right out of the gate from the rockin' opener "Fire It Up" to the last song, a way-kool version of "Key To The Highway" which features his Dad Billylee Janey guesting on 2nd guitar, the "Brand New Day" disc delivers rock solid to the core. Complete with his excellent long-time rhythm section of Dan "DJ" Johnson on Bass & Eric Douglas on drums, Brother Bryce lays down the blues/rock guitar law on his beat-up Strat with his good ole' trusty sidekick dog Buddy keeping everybody in tune!

What was begun in September 2012 as a project researched with fine artistic and intellectual endeavour subsequently expanded into an artistic and scientific project driven by conviction and passion. Six years of research and experiment have led us to interesting information and regularly revised insights into a valid realisation of an unexplored musical world that was truly characteristic of the prince-bishopric of Liège. In many respects, this music still does not receive the recognition it deserves, even in the region of its birth.

Karaba, as a pure instrumental band, rooted in the music related to the psychedelic rock of the 70's, in the tradition of veteran cabbage jazz prog greats such as "Embryo" or "Amon Düül". They combine the spirit of the experimental, early-stage, progressive seventies with a stunningly authentic approach to modern-day sounds.

Tango is currently en vogue, the spirit of the time. Almost everyone hears it, and many play it. Sometimes they add the word "Nuevo", add a dash of jazz, like to mix in the sweet brew of pop in their recipe to spice it up a bit and make it "palatable" for a broad range of tastes in music. Why is that? Because the tango in its original, pure form with all its dark facets, all its melancholy and dreariness might not be so popular anymore?

Pinchgut Opera, based in Sydney and founded in 2002, specializes in Baroque and Classical opera, featuring works such as Semele, The Fairy Queen, Idomeneo, and Orfeo. One of its more obscure repertoire choices is Marc-Antoine Charpentier's 1688 David & Jonathan. It's a work that's rarely performed or recorded, so this fine performance is revelatory.

Brilliant retro rock from Sweden that dares you to look below the surface. With dark and gloomy lyrics, Grusom creates an honest and unpolished universe, that questions life and death through authentic stories and malicious tales. Grusom is outstanding and captures a pure essence of how good rock music is crafted and presented.
