The Red Hot Ray Brown Trio (Concord, 1987) employed Mickey Roker and Gene Harris and was recorded at the Blue Note in New York City, November to December 1985. Mastered from the original Concord analog masters.

This recording features 2 musical giants, the late Ray Brown & the late Gene Harris. Ray Brown leaves us in no doubt why he was always regarded as the jazz world’s No.1 bass player. Gene Harris demonstrates his ability to bring the ‘blues’ feel that is the very essence of jazz, to his performance of any tune on the album. Groove Note Records owner Ying Tan produced the SACD edition of the album with the SACD mastering credits going to David Glasser at Airshow Mastering in Boulder, Colorado.

Girl Talk has some of the most interesting, imaginative arrangements of standards I've come across. This is excellent, swinging jazz music. I play it on a regular basis just for enjoyment. It's an amazing sounding Three Blind Mice recording, one of their best. If you didn't know better you would swear it's a Direct Disc!
