Two Places at the Same Time is the third studio album from Raydio, the group led by session guitarist/songwriter/producer Ray Parker Jr. Like the two albums that came before it, it again features 8 tracks; one of them, "Until The Morning Comes" was written by Parker and vocalist Arnell Carmichael. For another song, "Tonight's The Night", Parker teamed up with famed keyboard player Herbie Hancock, and Hancock received a co-writing credit.

Another faulty compilation wrapped in unflattering packaging, The Best of Ray Parker, Jr. & Raydio includes 14 tracks, leading off with the mega-hit "Ghostbusters" (ugh, of course) and closing with the undervalued "For Those Who Like to Groove," from his third album with Raydio. In between is a patchwork selection of cuts from all of Parker's albums through 1985's Sex and the Single Man, though only one track appears off that album and the one before it, 1983's Woman Out of Control. That means that the disc includes a fair amount of material from his Raydio days (at least two songs from each of the four albums), which is definitely a good thing, but there's just not enough to make it a thoroughly representative best-of.

When Malaco Records started out in the late 1960s, the label that small Southern R&B companies looked up to was Stax. The Jackson, MS-based Malaco, like the Memphis-based Stax, focused mainly on deep-fried Southern soul in the beginning – only in 1968 and 1969, Malaco was a struggling young operation that was fighting to stay afloat. But ironically, Malaco would still be in business long after Stax's 1975 demise, and it would continue to favor classic soul long after most labels had moved away from it. When other black-oriented independents were putting out urban contemporary, rap and house music in the 1980s and 1990s.

I Still Can't Get Over Loving You was the lead single from his 1983 Woman Out Of Control album and it reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1984. It was Parker's fifth Top 20 hit, the sixth being 1984's Ghostbusters. The song is an up-tempo ballad with electronic instruments. The lyrics are about lost love, with close similarities to The Police's Every Breath You Take, at one point even borrowing the lines ''Every breath you take, I'll be watching you.'' I Still Can't Get Over Loving You ranked number 77 on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1984. Includes original album remastered from the original master tape and 1 bonus track.
