The Grateful Dead may have released the band’s final studio album – Built to Last – on Halloween 1989, but that didn’t stop them from writing new songs for the following years, adding several new tracks to their live repertoire in the early ‘90s. Sadly, the group was unable to ever complete them in a studio before the death of singer/guitarist Jerry Garcia in 1995.

Fox Music will release the official soundtrack album for the thriller Ready or Not. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 21 and will be available to download here. Ready or Not is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and stars Samara Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Henry Czerny and Andie MacDowell. The movie follows a young bride as she joins her new husband’s rich, eccentric family in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide on August 21 by Fox Searchlight.

Brian Tyler is a composer and conductor of over 70 films and was named Film Composer of the Year at the 2014 Cue Awards. Tyler composed blockbuster hits “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Furious 7,” “Iron Man 3,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Ben Kingsley, as well as “Thor: The Dark World,” starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins. He conducted the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia of London, and the Hollywood Studio Symphony for those films. He also scored “Eagle Eye” for producer Steven Spielberg, and the box office hits “Fast Five” and “Fast & Furious” for director Justin Lin. He was nominated for a 2014 BAFTA Games Award and was inducted into the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2010. His films have grossed $9.5 billion worldwide.
