Chronologically, this programme of music for wind ensemble is framed by Darius Milhaud’s La création du monde, a ballet score from 1923, and the composer Anders Emilsson’s Salute the band, commissioned for the 2006 centenary of the Swedish Wind Ensemble. The remaining four compositions are all concertante works, featuring the French saxophone virtuoso Claude Delangle.
Eccentric Orbit is a Massachusetts-based Progressive Rock band with drums, bass, keys, wind-synth, electric violin, guitar synth, and electric mandolin. Their original material is all instrumental with a heavy focus on '70s keyboard sounds. Influences include classic Prog bands like Emerson, Lake & Palmer and King Crimson, as well as the sounds of classic sci-fi films.

There are no flaws on this album,in fact this is an incredible album filled with Fender Rhodes,organ,chunky bass and fantastic drumming.The three members are from the band SETNA and Wayside Music describes the music here as: "…think SETNA channeling ONE SHOT, but in a more proggy way".There is some guest sax and female vocals along with Chau Gongs which really add some atmosphere to the proceedings…
