This Scottish pipe and drum group was formed at the start of the 00s by Stuart Cassells (b. 1979, Falkirk, Scotland; pipes), Willie Armstrong (b. Scotland; pipes), Kevin MacDonald (b. Scotland; pipes), Steven Graham (b. Scotland; drums) and Malcolm McEwan (b. Scotland; drums). With Cassells, Graham and McEwan all studying at the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the group could boast a fine array of talented young players.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers is the debut studio album by Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on August 10, 1984 on EMI Records. The album was produced by Gang of Four guitarist Andy Gill, and is the only album to feature Jack Sherman on guitar who was fired by the band at the end of the tour in support of the album and replaced by founding member, Hillel Slovak.

Hot was a vocal trio from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed in 1976. Its members were Gwen Owens, Cathy Carson, and Juanita Curiel. They released three albums for Big Tree Records, and scored a Top Ten hit single in 1977 with "Angel in Your Arms", which peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Hot Hot Heat’s Make Up The Breakdown: Deluxe Edition is the newly remastered and expanded version of the group’s breakthrough full-length and will be available again on vinyl, just in time for the 20th Anniversary of its release, on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 from Sub Pop.

We’re thrilled to present this, our first full length album, with some of our favorite musicians, and the culmination of four years of work! It started in early 2019 with recording sessions not long after the band was formed, but then interrupted by the pandemic. That difficult time became part of our journey, creating and releasing our “Quarantine Tracks” EP in 2021. As the world opened up, we got back to work on this album, with a clearer identity and desire to reconnect with dancers and music lovers. We hope this music gives you as much joy as it was to create. Heartfelt thanks to our friends, family, and fans for helping us along the way!

A stellar collection of work from Hot Chocolate – the ultra-cool British group who mixed equal parts rock and soul in the 70s – a group who only had a few hits on our side of the Atlantic, but who have a much wider run of music than that brief radio fame might make you think! The scope of work here is wonderful – tracks that span the years 1970 through 1986 – a time both before and long after most of our ears knew the group – with cuts that go way past "You Sexy Thing" – 71 titles in all, with every 7" single that Hot Chocolate issued for the RAK label in the UK.
