Roger Waters' album "Amused to Death" returns in a remastered release from Columbia Records / Legacy Recordings. "Amused to Death" sounded the alarm about a society increasingly – and unthinkingly – in thrall to its television screens. Twenty-three years later, "Amused to Death" speaks to our present moment in ways that could scarcely have been anticipated two decades ago.

The 2015 SACD edition of Amused to Death features a new 5.1 surround remix of the album completed by longtime Roger Waters / Pink Floyd collaborator and co-producer, James Guthrie. The art has been updated for 2015 by Sean Evans, the creative director of Waters’ 2010-2013 “The Wall Live” tour and movie.

It's nothing short of remarkable that Roger Waters has built a successful career on obsessive ruminations on alienation, megalomania, and guilty fame, largely on the backs of one of history's most long-lived arena acts. The musical legacy Waters has shared with "another band" (as he sharply refers to his former Pink Floyd mates in this collection's self-penned liner notes) has served two distinctly different functions: part and parcel of the latter's nostalgia act; autobiographical foundation for the former's ongoing, if decidedly egocentric, Rage at the World. That's essentially the rationale this live collection uses to lean heavily on Waters's Pink prime, from Dark Side of the Moon through The Final Cut. And if that frame sometimes overshadows the images of Waters's solo work–well, no one said he wasn't a pragmatic entertainer.

"Is This the Life We Really Want" is the fifth studio album by English rock musician and former Pink Floyd bassist and vocalist Roger Waters. It is his first studio album in nearly 25 years since "Amused to Death" (1992), as well as his first solo album in 12 years since "Ça Ira" (2005). At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics, the album received an average score of 70, based on 10 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".

Ça Ira (French for "It'll be fine", subtitled "There is Hope") is an opera in three acts by Roger Waters based on the French libretto co-written by Étienne and Nadine Roda-Gil on the historical subject of the early French Revolution. Ça Ira was released 26 September 2005, as a double album featuring baritone Bryn Terfel, soprano Ying Huang, and tenor Paul Groves.

During lock down Roger and the band recorded lots of new versions of various songs that they were working on and shared them as he went along. It would seem these recordings have probably been spruced up and sent to me mastered to make them sound nice and polished ready for consumption.

"Radio K.A.O.S." is the second studio album by British rock musician and former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters. It was Waters' first album after his split from Pink Floyd in 1985. Like his previous and future studio albums and many works of his during his time with Pink Floyd, this is a concept album. The album is based around a number of key factors of politics in the late 1980s – monetarism, and its effect on citizens. It also makes criticisms of Margaret Thatcher's government, much like Pink Floyd's The Final Cut, another album conceived by Waters. Other influences include popular culture of the 1980s, and the choices and consequences of the Cold War and its effect on world politics and society.

Within this interview, Roger discusses that there will be a new physical and streaming release of his “Lockdown Sessions,” which were recorded between 2020 and 2022 during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Various songs were recorded and posted on Rogers’ official YouTube channel, including “Two Suns In The Sunset And The Gunners Dream” from Pink Floyd’s 1983 The Final Cut album, “Mother, Vera, and Bring The Boys Back Home” from 1979’s Pink Floyd The Wall, and a new arrangement of “The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range” from Rogers’ 1992 Amused To Death album. According to the latest interview, the new version of the recently released This Is Not A Drill Tour’s “Comfortably Numb” arrangement will also be included, the album is currently being mastered, and a physical and streaming release date has yet to be announced.
