Spitfire Studio Brass is the second release in our vital all-new Spitfire Studio Orchestra range. Two years in the making, our ambition was to create an incredibly versatile pro-end dry stage sample library. Continuing from our highly popular Strings, Brass and Saxophone libraries, Intimate Studio Woodwinds is the latest creation in our series of contemporary studio ensembles. With over 160 hours of session material and countless more in post-production, Intimate Studio Woodwinds continues our concept of a completely modular ensemble. The library features five highly expressive solo woodwind players including a Flute, Oboe, Cor Anglais, Clarinet, and Bass Clarinet.

Most should realise by now that I have a fascination for rediscovering old technologies and combining the best of them in a constant attempt to create something new and unusual. Some of you will also know that I’m a big fan of the retro computing scene and especially the demo music scene that grew up around it during the mid ‘80s and into the ‘90s.

EPIK4 Kontakt edition is a sample library based on the sounds of KAWAI K4 synthesizer from the late 80s. The KAWAI K4 was released in 1989 as a competitor of Roland D-50. In this point of view, EPIK4 can be considered as a sister of DEEPFLIGHT, but while the Roland D-50 has a warm analogue character, the K4's digital filter gives you fuzzy but still warm sounds.
