Rare selections, Groove & Tururut are a series of posts about hidden and unique collections of music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, more or less rare and more or less widespread, and probably made in foreign editions aimed at minorities. We add that the vast majority are also physically obsolete. Small treasures that make the B-side of our discography.

Luther Vandross was one of the most successful R&B artists of the 1980s and '90s. Not only did he score a series of multi-million-selling albums containing chart-topping hit singles and perform sold-out tours of the U.S. and around the world, but he also took charge of his music creatively, writing or co-writing most of his songs and arranging and producing his records. He also performed these functions for other artists, providing them with hits as well.

As with most of Enchantment's album, this one too was battling the transition that the music industry was making from disco to the electronic age of music in the '80s. Nonetheless, the Detroit-based showmen maintained their dedication to a wholesome repertoire of music, and this album, their fourth, is no exception.
