Paul Julien André Mauriat 4 March 1925 – 3 November 2006) was a French orchestra leader, conductor of Le Grand Orchestre de Paul Mauriat, who specialized in the easy listening genre.

Named in honor of various '60s/'70s icons of the same name (Bardot, Fontaine, Lahaie), Aurelie Maggiori (previously known as Mayane Delem) and former Vendetta vocalist Sylvie Hoarau, aka French pop duo Brigitte, replicate the Gallic folk-pop sound of their heroes' heyday with their debut album, Et Vous, Tu M'aimes? Co-written with the likes of Franco-Lebanese singer/songwriter Camille Bazbaz and French composer Albin de la Simone, its 16 tracks include the singles "Battez Vous," "Oh La La," and a sensual take on Supreme NTM's 1998 hip-hop anthem "Ma Benz."

Niña Pastori is one of the more accomplished cantaoras among the generation of young pop-flamenco singers to emerge around the turn of the century. She was born María Rosa García García on January 15, 1978, in San Fernando, a city in the province of Cádiz, Spain, and her mother is a successful flamenco singer, La Pastori. She began her career at a young age, often traveling and performing with her mother hence her performing name, Niña Pastori, a reference to her relationship to her well-known mother. Niña made her recording debut in 1996 with Entre Dos Puertos, which was produced by Paco Ortega and Alejandro Sanz, the latter Spain's best-selling artist ever.
